Columbia-Adair EDA to meet Tuesday Aug 20

The Columbia-Adair County Economic Development Authority Board will hold a regularly scheduled meeting at 8amCT on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the Welcome and Development Center, 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY.

Meeting Agenda:

  • Call to Order

  • Welcome Guests - Roll Call - Determination of Quorum

  • Opening Prayer & Pledge of Allegiance

  • Approval of Minutes for July 16, 2024 meeting as presented

  • Approval of Treasurer's Financial Reports/payment of bills as presented

  • Business
    1. Approve Easement for Columbia Adair Utilities District
    2. Authorize payment of invoices for KPDI-1 project once approved by MSE, project engineering manager and Chairman
    3. KPDI 1 - Status of Utilities extensions work.
    4. KPDI 2 - Bids to be opened at 10:00 am today for South Access Road Water Extension. (following meeting)
    5. Bid Package for South Access Road Entrance.
    6. Approve request for FY25 TVA funds for KPDI -2 project local match.
    7. Approve transfer of funds from regular checking to KPDI-1 account

  • Other Business

  • Motion to Enter Executive Session
    Executive Session per KRS 61.810(g). Discussions between a public agency and a representative of a business entity and discussions concerning a specific proposal, if open discussions would jeopardize the siting, retention, expansion, or upgrading of the business.

  • Motion to Return to Regular Session

  • Motion to Adjourn
