Agenda for July 23 Fiscal Court Meeting

Adair County Deputy Judge Executive

The Adair County Fiscal Court will meet in regular called session at 6pmCT on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in the basement of the Adair County Annex building located at 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY. The public is invited to attend.

In addition to regular business, items on the lengthy agenda include an ordinance for licensing requirements for solar energy system installations, setting 2024 Adair County tax rates for real, tangible, and motor/aircraft, hiring a custodian for the Judicial Center, the 2024-2025 Soil Conservation budget, the budget for the Ambulance Service, carpet at the Judicial Center, a Water Board appointment, and Green River Lake contracts with the Corps of Engineers for Arnold's Landing and Mt. Carmel.

All Magistrates and Fiscal Court officials wee present Tuesday, July 23, 2024 for the regular monthly meeting. A highlight of the meeting was gaining agreement and the ACJE's signature on the million dollar grant to go toward full restoration of the historic Adair County Courthouse, the key landmark of this place.
