The Adair County Fiscal Court will meet at 6pmCT on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in the Adair County Annex Building Basement, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY.
In addition to regular business, the long agenda includes a presentation from Serenity Counseling, opening of a number of bids, an ordinance to license solar system installation in Adair County, permission to put medical marijuana on the November ballot, discussion of workers pay, a second reading of the 2024-2025 budget, grant applications, and a request to change Fiscal Court Committee members.

The agenda was long in regular business for the monthly meeting. In addition a group came to talk about rental prices for businesses at the Jim Blair Center which needed extra discussion time between magistrates and parents of children in Damon Hicks' program. Early crowd for the Tuesday, June 25, 2024 Adair Fiscal Court meeting grew as the nearly three-and-a-half-hour meeting went on. All magistrates were present. Attorney Angie Capps sat in for County Attorney Jennifer Hutchison-Corbin. A key decision was made in the meeting for the Board of Elections that will help recruit poll workers for the November election.
