Sign requested in Veterans Memorial Park

A reader who asked to remain anonymous writes, "Out here on 55 S. Morrison Road, Columbia Veterans Memorial Park, where the flag is flying and little kiddie slide stuff is -- drivers seem like they can't easily see the kids playing.

"Kids are running across, little bitty ones who can barely walk, and some on little tiny bicycles with parents trying to grab them to keep the cars and trucks from running over them.

I think the City should put a big sign that shows up at night as well as in daytime: CHILDREN AT PLAY."

Sign requested inside Veterans Memorial Park

A reader reminds the City that a large "Children at Play" sign looks to be needed at the Veterans Memorial Park on Hwy 55 south, maybe even painted on the pavement.
