Dr. Van Giles to practice in Columbia

From Cheryl Wall

Dr. Van Giles, the son of Dr. Charles Giles, is returning to Columbia to practice with Charles S. Giles, MD & Associates.

Dr. Giles attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and furthered his training with an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky, where he served as the Primary Care Chief Resident. He will be practicing a full scope of evidence-based adult primary care, preventative medicine, and both acute and chronic disease management.

Dr. Giles is married to Karli (Jessie) Giles, also of Columbia, and they have one son, Kip. Dr. Giles grew up in Adair County and graduated from Adair County High School.

He and his family are proudly returning home to Columbia to be a part of the community and for Van to practice alongside his father.

Dr. Van Giles will be accepting new patients starting July 2024 with a full schedule to come in late August 2024.
