Mayor congratulates Synergy Food Group on expansion plans

Synergy Food Group, based in Mufreesboro, Tennessee, with a location in Columbia, Kentucky, has recently signed a new contract with a prominent food service provider.

"We're excited to begin producing shelf stable meals for our new customer in the very near future," stated Plant Manager Craig Dean. "As a result, we look forward to continuing to build out our food campus as we continue to grow. We expect to hold a news conference at a later date when more details can be made available."

Mayor Hoots said of the announcement, "We are thrilled about the prospect for our community and for Synergy Food Group."
