MCHS students selected to Rogers Scholars By Torrie Osbon, Communications Director EDMONTON, Ky. - Metcalfe County High School is proud to announce that two students have been selected for the 2024 Rogers Scholars Program. Bree Jolly and Addison Morgan will travel to Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia this summer, where they will spend the week receiving hands-on instructional training from professional experts in various fields. Rogers Scholars is the flagship youth program for The Center for Rural Development. It provides leadership and college scholarship opportunities to help rising high school juniors develop the skills they need to become the region's next generation of business and entrepreneurial leaders. "We are so proud to have Bree and Addison representing Metcalfe County High School at this prestigious week-long program," MCHS Principal Joseph Eaton said. "I'm excited for them to have this opportunity and for the hard work, dedication, and academic excellence they demonstrated to receive this honor. I love seeing that Hornet Hustle on display." Bree is the 16-year-old daughter of Richie and Nikki Jolly. Addison is the 16-year-old daughter of Brandy Morgan and Hoby Morgan. This story was posted on 2024-03-25 23:41:33
