Alberta Dishman, 88, Taylor County, KY (1936-2024)

Alberta Hardesty Dishman, daughter of the late Albert Hardesty and Addie Mae Craig Hardesty, was born February 11, 1936 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Tuesday, March 19, 2024, in Campbellsville at age 88.

She was a retired housekeeper for Lucky Vista Motel in Campbellsville. She professed faith in Christ.


Alberta is survived by two daughters: Denise Blaydes and husband, Perry and Tena Gowen and husband, Travis of Campbellsville; two step-children: Pam Druin of Campbellsville and Travis "Tony" Arbuckle and wife, Nancy of Clarksville, Indiana; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Arbuckle of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Nathan Blaydes and wife, Marla of Greensburg, Erica Gravel, Cheyenne Craig and husband, Hunter, Baylee Arbuckle and significant other, Zack Faulkner and Conor Gowen of Campbellsville; eight great-grandchildren: Bella Blaydes, Sierra Blaydes, Lauryn Blaydes, Colten Gravel, Carson Milby, Everly Craig, Archer Craig and McKenna Rucker and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Alberta was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Arbuckle January 28, 2023; a grandson, Kevin Blaydes and two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service 11amET Friday, March 22, 2024 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Visitation from 9-11. Burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
