Marginal risk of severe weather in the forecast

The National Weather Service in Louisville, KY, has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for this evening and early Friday for an area of South Central Kentucky that includes Adair and all surrounding counties. A conditional threat of strong to severe storms exists mainly across southern Indiana and northern Kentucky this afternoon, with an isolated threat further south. However, if storms do occur, all severe hazards are possible.

A second wave of strong to severe storms is expected overnight as a cold front approaches the area. Isolated damaging winds and isolated, brief spin up tornadoes are the primary hazards.

Locally, we'll definitely see increasing clouds overnight, with a low around 59F and south wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
