Wear blue for Izzie Mae on February 15th

By Easton Bryant

For my oldest, Izzie Mae, February is a special month. It's her birth month and the 15th is always International Angelman Day, raising awareness around Angelman Syndrome, a condition she lives with.

We'd love to see your family and/or workplace wear blue on February 15th to honor the day!

I came across this quote a couple years ago and it's never left me: "Just because someone is nonverbal doesn't mean they have nothing to say."

AS makes life difficult in many ways and being nonverbal is at the top of the list in our opinion. The reality is we've seen devastating situations play out over and over in the AS community that stem from the very lack of an ability to communicate what's hurting. It's tragic.

This is sounding like doom and gloom, I know. But there's an incredible amount of hope for Izzie Mae's future. Human clinical trials that show promise for an eventual cure are underway and, when the time is right, WE BELIEVE SHE WILL DO ALL THINGS.

We're grateful for the awe-inspiring science that is creating hope and we certainly aim to do our small part to help push it along.

One way we do this is by donating proceeds from IZZIE skin & beauty products to the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics, a wonderful organization where I serve as a volunteer on the Advisory Council.

The IZZIE Caps are phenomenal for healthy bone density as well. Expect noticeable changes between days 30-60 for the hair, skin, and nails aspect. Copy the link below and paste it into your browser for a discount when buying both: https://northcenturypharmacy.com/collections/izzie-skin-beauty

Your support means the world and will help shape the futures of so many waiting to tell everyone what's on their hearts. -EB
