Drive sober or get pulled over

Columbia Police Department Chief Charles Greer and Detective Evan Burton were Friday morning guests on WAIN and advised listeners to simply make plans in advance before going to a gathering where there will be drinking over the upcoming holiday.

If you drink, plan ahead so that you do not drive. "Drive sober or get pulled over." If you drive under the influence, you will spend time in jail. Over the holidays, and every day, drivers are warned to put down cell phones and avoid injury and death.

The Columbia Police Department, Adair County Sheriff's Department, Kentucky State Police and Kentucky Fish & Wildlife will all be out in force this weekend.
