Jeffrey C. Loy, 60, Russell County, KY (1962-2023) Jeffrey C. Loy, of Russell Springs, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023 at 60 years of age. He was born August 14, 1962, in Somerset, son of Autic and Irene Popplewell Loy. At the age of fourteen, he professed his faith in Christ. Even as a boy, Jeff's passion for animals and his love for the outdoors was apparent. Jeff was fond of all animals, though he had a special attachment to his goats. Jeff enjoyed going to the Exotic Animal Sales, where he was always in the market for unique goats and cattle. He was part owner of the Russell County Stockyards and a member of Fairview Separate Baptist Church. Jeff loved his family dearly. He is survived by his wife, Vicki Williams Loy; his mother, Irene Loy, of Jamestown; his son, Weston Loy, of Carrollton, Texas; his daughter, Kaylyn Loy, of Russell Springs; his sister and brother-in-law, Nenna and Barry Lawson, of Russell Springs; and his nephews, Brannon Lawson and Nathan Lawson. Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Autic Loy. Funeral Services are 2pmCT Monday, April 17, 2023, at Fairview Separate Baptist Church, with Bro. Doug Baldwin officiating. Interment will follow in Dixon Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Mark Antle, Neal Dalton, Randy McFall, Darrell Loy, Jeron Loy and Donnie Bolin. Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Lawson, Brannon Lawson, Nathan Lawson and Hunter Groves. Visitation will be held until time for services, at Fairview Separate Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairview Separate Baptist Church, c/o Neal Dalton, Treasurer, 375 West Highway 619, Russell Springs, KY 42642.
