Bryant Realty auctions Dudley home in Montpelier

Billy and Tami Andrew inherited the family home of Marguerite Dudley in Montpelier, KY after her passing.

Bryant Realty's auctioneers Dale Hayes and Bradley Karnes were selected to hold the sale and move the historic property into the hands of a new family. It was a perfect day for the sale Saturday, March 25, 2023.

Ms. Dudley was an avid reader and keeper of printed information.

In addition to books and newspapers, her home was filled with a lifetime of collectibles. According to Dale there were many items in the auction that are seldom found anymore.

The new owner of the house and over half an acre lot is Roger Barnes of Russell County who plans to restore the home. That's good news for preservationists.
