Golf: LWC Women lead after 1st round of Blue Raider Invitational

The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team leads after the first round of the Blue Raider Invitational Monday at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson.

The Blue Raiders sit atop the team leaderboard with a 16-over par 304 on the par-72 5,864 yard course. SCAD Atlanta sits one spot behind Lindsey Wilson while Northwestern Ohio is third with a 312.


Katie Biddlecombe sits tied for the individual lead with an even-par 72. Biddlecombe recorded three birdies in the round which is tied for the most in the round. She also posted a first-round best 2-under score on par-4s.

Megan Mann sits two shots behind the lead tied for third with a 74 while Lauren Holeman is tied for sixth with a 78. Paige Gray who is competing as an individual is tied for 10th with a 79.

Hannah Sumner shot an 80 and sits tied for 13th while Zofia Wojcik rounds out the Lindsey Wilson scoring with an 84 and is tied for 19th. Kendall Hacker is the other Blue Raider competing an individual and carded a 94.

The final round of the Blue Raider Invitational begins Tuesday at 11amCT at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson.
