Great Backyard Bird Count (February 17-20) Underway

Join birdwatchers from all over the world February 17 - 20 by participating in the Great Backyard Bird Count! It's so easy, fun, and helps scientists know more about our birds.

All you have to do is:
  • 1) Decide where you want to watch birds (your yard, Green River Lake, anywhere);

  • 2) Watch/count birds or 15 minutes or more, at least once over the four days (you can submit as many lists as you like);

  • 3) Identify the birds you see or hear w/in your chosen time & location;

  • 4) Submit your list by using the MERLIN BIRD ID app, the eBird Mobile app, or by going to the Great Backyard Bird Count website on your phone or computer.
Watching/counting birds is fun! Participate today in the Great Backyard Bird Count!
