Letter: EDA Grant Application

Victoria Pike writes:
Thank you to the EDA board for their hard work to help Adair County try to move forward. We have had announcements this past week of two new businesses in our community that have stirred excitement among locals. Maybe we are on a roll here. I would love to see our town grow and flourish with new industry and new retail as well as restaurants.

That being said, I've seen and heard some who aren't pleased with our new choices. I invite them to get in there and work as hard as you folks have to bring about change and curb their comments. I'm trying to be diplomatic here. I encourage those who have big ideas to come forward and help with their time and money to make more good things a reality. If you can't do that, as Momma would say, "if you can't say something nice just don't say anything."

I probably wouldn't be as kind but again diplomacy. Not something I've studied a lot. Happy Thanksgiving and holidays to all from the Pampered Angus Ranch family. --Vicky and Zippy
