CPD: Driver arrested for DUI after hit and run

On Saturday afternoon, October 29, 2022, officers were dispatched to Will Walker Road after a reported hit and run. According to callers, the operator of a white Dodge Ram struck another vehicle and fled the scene.

A witness and caller followed the truck until officers were able to catch up to the vehicle. Officers initiated a stop on Campbellsville Road. Once officers made contact with the operator of the vehicle, it was determined that the subject was under the influence, and he was taken into custody.


Guadalupe Soto, 54, of Campbellsville has been charged with DUI 1st as well as leaving the scene of an accident and wanton endangerment 1st degree; a class D felony.

Officer Joey Keith was the arresting Officer. He was assisted by Sgt. Drew Conn.
