Travel: Hamilton inspires summer trip By Matilda Anne Waggener The play Hamilton inspired our summer trip east to Charlottesville, VA. My dad and I toured Monticello, the home of President Thomas Jefferson, the third president of the United States. The home is presented as it was in the days he lived there. The trip from Shelbyville, KY took us through eastern KY and into the mountains. The views are beautiful.
