Rodney Dale Snow, 73, Russell Springs, KY (1949-2022)

Rodney Dale Snow of Russell Springs entered eternal peace Monday, September 19, 2022, in Albany, KY. He was 73 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT on Friday, September 23, 2022, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main St., Jamestown, KY. Interment will be in the Wheat Cemetery on 619 North in Jamestown, Ky with the procession to follow a special route to honor his former businesses, Snow's Grocery and Snow's Dairy Dee, along with the love-filled home he shared with his family since November 1977.

Visitation will be Friday, September 23, from 11amCT until time of service, at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY.


Rodney was born Wednesday, May 18, 1949, to the late Charlie "Bryant" and Bessie Rue Cook Snow. Rodney dedicated his life to Christ as a young boy and attended Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Russell Springs.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 51 years, Darlene Murphy Snow, whom he married Saturday, June 19, 1971; three daughters, Angela (David) Sayers of Nancy; Anita (Kyle) Curry of Hodgenville; Alicia (Eric) Corman of Argenta, IL; one son Terry (Joy) Snow of Georgetown; ten grandchildren Jeb and Raylee Sayers; Nolin and Aubrey-Cate Riggs; Caleb Corman; and Peyton, Grayson, Emmalyn, Collyn and Brynden Snow.

He is also survived by one brother Gerald "Brent" (Linda) Snow of Russell Springs; two sisters Judith (Larry) Phelps of Jamestown and Lila Snow of Columbia; one sister-in-law Sue Snow of Russell Springs; and a host of nieces and nephews along with extended family.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a beloved brother Larry "Snowbird" Snow.

Pall bearers will be Terry Snow, Peyton Snow, Jeb Sayers, Larry

Phelps, Phillip Oaks and Jeff Hancock.

The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Wheat Cemetery Fund. They may be left at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, or mailed to Ms. Elizabeth Miller, 4307 N. Hwy 55, Jamestown, KY 42629.
