Clara Martha Gaskins Humphress, 84, Knifley, KY (1938-2022)

Clara Martha Gaskins Humphress, age 84, of Knifley, Kentucky, departed this life surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 19, 2022. She was born March 15, 1938, in Ella (Adair County), Kentucky, to Elbert H. Gaskins and Mary Belle Pike Gaskins.

In 1997, Clara and Bill returned to Adair County and built a home on the family farm.

Having accepted Christ as her Savior early in life, Clara attended Christie Chapel United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing and using her beautiful alto voice to sing his praises. She also loved to read mystery books and play with her dogs and black cat, Ebony. In her spare time from cooking and baking she enjoyed watching University of Kentucky Wildcats and NASCAR's Jeff Gordon. Clara was a beautiful, charming, kind, and loving wife, mother, and grandmother and great-grandmother.
