Maxie Jessie, 82, Metcalfe County,KY (1940-2022) James Maxie Jessie, 82 of Edmonton, a lifelong resident of Metcalfe County was born June 5, 1940 and passed away Saturday, September 18, 2022 at TJ Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Merdil and Lannie England Jessie. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Lois Jessie whom he married July 12, 1958. She passed away March 31, 2007. He was also preceded in death by an infant son Tony. Maxie is survived by: four daughters - Vicky Costello (Vincent) of Edmonton, Donnitta Anderson of Glasgow, Rita Lenharr (David) of Edmonton and Patty Benjamin (Neil) of Edmonton. One son, James "Jim" Jessie Jr., of Edmonton. Eleven grandchildren. Darrell Anderson (Kristina), Maxie Anderson, April Marrow, Henry Anderson, Brian Benjamin, Scotty Costello, Tracy Costello, Tammy Harper (Scotty), Vicky Costello, Amanda Bays and Carolann Bowles. Eighteen great grandchildren, Seven great great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT Wednesday, September 21 st with burial in the Nickols Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:30 Wednesday until service time at the funeral home.
