Missionaries to Ukraine to speak Sept. 21 at CU Chapel By Simon Baker Campbellsville, KY - Gennady and Mina Podgaisky, missionaries to Ukraine, will speak at Campbellsville University's chapel service at 10amET on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, in Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, KY. Gennady and Mina, a 1997 alumna of Campbellsville University, helped establish the Village of Hope in 2003, a foster family ministry center. At this time, the Village of Hope hosts three Ukrainian foster families with a total of 21 children. Since then, the Podgaiskys have led Bible studies, provided counseling, organized and led family seminars, helped Outback couples' retreats, held marital counseling and provided training on life skills for youth. The couple also leads a home Bible study group. Mina leads a women's Bible study group where they "do crafts, play games, fellowship and study the Word of God," according to their biography. "Mina is 'one of the authors and trainer[s] of the Life Skills Manual for youth,'" according to their website. The manual consists of four-to-seven 90-minute lessons designed as a course for future orphanage graduates. The public is invited to chapel. Chapels are televised on WLCU (Comcast Cable channel 10 and digital channel 15), streamed on Campbellsville University's Facebook page and can be found at www.youtube.com.
