Paint The Town winners announced

The City of Columbia presented awards to the winners of "Paint The Town." This was the third year of the event, which lets organizations, churches, and individuals do chalk drawings on the sidewalks on and around the square.

The following were awarded:
  • Community Involvement: Glens Fork Church of the Nazarene.
  • Community Choice: Rebecca and Nathaniel Cravens.
  • Youth Award: Ellie Staten.
"We appreciate all participants in this year's event," said Columbia Mayor Pamela Hoots.
