Cumberland Thunder: Habedank coming back to Russell Co. Russell County's own Cumberland Thunder, a Christian band formed in 2016, are excited to announce the return of Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Joseph Habedank to Russell County for a concert at 6pmCT on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the Jamestown Christian Church, 65 S. Main St, Jamestown, KY. Some might remember this as the venue where Cumberland Thunder celebrated their fifth anniversary with a free concert in 2021. Just as then, this concert will also be free to the public. Joshua Tomlin of Cumberland Thunder says, "Since we started touring nearly six years ago, Joseph has been a constant friend and encourager; we are delighted to once again be performing in concert together." Habedank rose to popularity in the Gospel music genre as a longtime member of the Perrys, and with the start of his solo career in 2014, has garnered multiple Grammy nominations, Dove awards, and number one songs. This announcement comes on the heels of the release of Cumberland Thunder's "Live: Volume 2," and the latest Dove nomination for Habedank's song, "Child of the King."
