Revisit Knifley Homecoming and Festival is set for September 10

By Debbie Cowan

After a two year absence, Revisit Knifley is returning! The festival and homecoming, held in the Knifley community of Adair County, is set for Saturday, September 10, 2022.

The day will begin with a country ham breakfast and end with fireworks and offer many great activities and events in between. Plans are being made for a tractor show, a car show, Veterans program and motorcycle ride and live music. There will be vendor booths, kids activities including a petting zoo, inflatables, face painting and a pedal tractor pull. Knifley memorabilia and historical items will be on display and there will also be an auction in the afternoon.

All activities will take place at or near the former Knifley Grade Center school at 12190 Knifley Road.

The planning committee is still actively seeking vendors and volunteers for the event. For more information, contact Lisa Greer at 270-469-0376.
