CPD: Never give personal info to phone solicitors By Officer Adam Cravens, PIO Columbia Police Department It has been brought to our attention again that local residents are receiving numerous scam calls. People have reported that scammers are claiming to be with Social Security Office, IRS, and recently Publishers Clearinghouse. The Columbia Police Department would like to remind everyone to not give personal details and information over the phone when solicited.
