Theresa Sapp Goodin, 87, Campbellsville, KY (1935-2022)

Theresa Sapp Goodin of Campbellsville died at 9:12 P.M., Monday, June 13, 2022 in Somerset. She was 87 years old.

The funeral service will be held at NoonET on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Deacon Dennis May. Burial will follow in Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 10amET until NoonET on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.


Theresa Sapp Goodin, daughter of the late Luther Sapp and Flossie Agnes Knopp Sapp was born May 13, 1935 in Marion County, Kentucky.

She was an active member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church in Finley.

Theresa was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

She lived for her kids and grandkids and enjoyed working in her yard and watching the wildlife outside her home.

Theresa united in marriage to Gene Goodin December 13, 1958 and he preceded her in death June 13, 2015. In true fashion and the significance of the 13th, she passed on the same day as her husband, seven years apart.

She is survived by one son and one daughter: Wayne Goodin (Karen) of Lebanon and Dawn Conder (Terry) of Somerset; one daughter-in-law, Felicia Goodin; six grandchildren: Jeffrey Goodin, D. J. Goodin, LeeAnn Goodin, Aaron Conder, Annie Conder and Sean Whitman; one sister, Frances Clarkston of Louisville; her caregiver, Rubie Brock; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Theresa was also preceded in death by a son, Timmy Goodin and two brothers and two sisters: James Sapp, Herb Sapp, Ruby Maupin and Viola Newcomb.

The family would like to wish a special thanks to Rubie Brock and Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
