ACHS Class of 2022 Commencement Exercises

The Adair County High School Class of 2022 will hold its commencement exercises at 7pmCT on Friday, May 27, 2022, in the John Burr Memorial Gymnasium. Each senior who is participating in the graduation ceremony will be given 10 tickets for their guests to attend. Doors will open at 6pmCT.

The class of 2022 is made up of 172 students. One hundred thirteen students in the class have achieved a Latin honor academic recognition. Twenty-three students have earned a Summa Cum Laude designation (weighted GPA of 4.0 or greater), 36 students have earned a Magna Cum Laude designation (weighted GPA of 3.5 to 3.99), and 37 students have earned a Cum Laude designation (weighted GPA of 3.0 to 3.49).


Seniors will also be wearing zipper pulls that denote postsecondary readiness. Ninety-seven students have achieved Academic and/or Career Readiness benchmarks.

The motto for the Class of 2022 is, "Together, we have experienced life. Separately, we will pursue our dreams. Forever, our memories will remain." The class chose I'll Always Remember You by Hannah Montana as the class song, the carnation as the class flower, and blue and black as the class colors.

ACHS seniors begin commencement week activities

Adair County High School senior Noah Newell led the Graduate Walk through the Middle, Elementary and Primary schools Monday morning. He and his fellow grads are pictured in the halls at AC Middle School. Noah will be attending college on scholarships. This week is filled with special activities leading up to commencement exercises Friday evening.
