Joshua Evan Bruce, 35, Metcalfe Co., KY (1986-2022)

Joshua Evan Bruce of MetCalfe County passed away on Wednesday December 29, 2021 after a short illness. He was 35 years old.

There will be a private memorial service at the convenience of the family.

A public memorial service will be held at 1pmCT on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Old School Cafe, Stockton Street, Edmonton, KY. This will be a potluck with the main course provided.

Josh was born in Yuma, Arizona and moved to Kentucky as young child. He was an amazing husband to Brittany, father to his seven children, friend to many. He served in the Army as a Bradley mechanic and his most recent career was being a truck driver. His favorite hobbies were to fish and to hunt. He knew no stranger and made a friend with everyone who came across his path. He would help anyone in need, no matter his circumstances.

He is survived by his wife Brittany and his seven children who were the loves of his life. His parents Wes and Kathy Bruce, his brother Justin (Natalie) Bruce and sister Becca (Alex) Taylor. His grandparents Charles and Maxine Bankard, Judith Miller and Robert and Donna Blevins and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all his family, friends and trucker family.

The family would like to thank everyone who has donated either monetarily through the various platforms. Josh was not much for flowers so the family requests no flowers/ plants. If you would like to make a contribution, there's a gofundme on facebook under his brother Justin Bruce. There is also a raffle at Hawk's Deli & Gun Shop of a rifle in Josh's memory.
