James (Jimmy) Leonard Stocking, 65, Taylor County, KY James "Jimmy" Leonard Stocking, 65, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Leonard George Stocking and Lucille Hardin Stocking, was born September 11th, 1956, in Jefferson County and departed this life on Monday, December 27th, 2021, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky. He professed his faith in Christ and attended Campbellsville Baptist Church. Jimmy is survived by: One daughter: Linda Johnson and her husband, William, of Campbellsville. One son: Leonard Lee Stocking of Campbellsville. Two grandchildren: Alanis Stocking and her fiance, Dustin Summers, of Campbellsville, and Ethan Yocom of Campbellsville. Two great-grandchildren: Kyland Summers and Letty Summers, both of Campbellsville. One brother and three sisters: David Adams of Louisville; Doris Adams of Rhode Island; Madeine Adams of Harrodsburg; and Georgetta Denham of Louisville. Besides his parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by one brother, Howard Adams and a half-sister. VISITATION: Thursday, December 30th, 2021, from 11am - 2pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville. FUNERAL: Thursday, December 30th, 2021, at 2pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for expressions of sympathy be taken in the form of donations to Gideon Bibles and can be made at the funeral home.
