Letter: Water towers

Melinda Wheeler writes:
"Who won the contest?"
Edmonton, KY was in the running for People's Choice in the Water Tank of the Year contest for their new design featuring the MCHS mascot. Out of more than 300 entries from across the country, Edmonton was in 1st place during voting in early October. Unfortunately, a couple of larger cities eventually pulled ahead.

Rochester, MN (pop. 115k) took the 2021 People's Choice award for their Ear of Corn water tower.

Brunswick, GA (pop. 16k) was the First Runner Up, and Edmonton, KY (pop. 1.6k) finished as 2nd Runner Up in the voting. All the finalists will be featured in contest sponsor Tnemec's 2022 water tank calendar, which can be requested at tnemec.com/about/tankoftheyear.
