Chester Voils, Jr., 45, Russell County, KY (1975-2021)

Chester Voils, Jr., of Russell Springs, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Saint Joseph East Hospital, in Lexington. He was 45 years of age.

He worked construction for and alongside his brother, Tommy. Even though Chester was the baby of the family, and a bit spoiled, he looked up to his brother. He had a big heart. If you knew Chester, you couldn't not love him; he always kept you laughing. He loved his family, enjoyed his grandkids, and was a good friend and a great brother.

Chester was born on November 4, 1975, in Columbia, son of the late Chester and Judith Rigby Voils.

He is survived by his children, Josh (and Shelby) Voils, of Russell Springs, Kaysie Voils, of Jamestown, and Chester (and Sarah Hunter) Voils, III, of Russell Springs; his brother, Tommy (and Melissa) Voils, of Russell Springs; his sisters, Eva Jessee, of Russell Springs, and Crystal (and Bryan) Stilts, of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Colbie Bunch, Marcus Voils and Oliver Beach; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; his cousins, Patty Camp and Pam Brown; and his special friend, Tiffany Carroll.

Funeral services are 1pmCT Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Bobby Dunbar officiating. Burial will follow in the Voils Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Voils, Chester Voils, III, Tommy Voils, Ronnie Draper, Bryan Stilts, Paul Beach and Todd Duke.

Visitation will be Monday, September 20, 2021, from 5-8.
