Dicy Coffey, 99, Russell Springs, KY (1921-2021) Dicy Coffey of Russell Springspassed away on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Fair Oaks Health and Rehabilitation, in Jamestown. She was 99 years old. Funeral services are scheduled for 1pmCT on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY, with Brother Troy Coffey officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11amCT until service time on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home. The Coffey family requests that everyone in attendance wear a facial covering and practice social distancing. Born on October 19, 1921, in Russell County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Jerome and Idona Johnson Roy. Dicy was a homemaker, farmer, and caretaker. She was a member of Union Baptist Church. Dicy was the last survivor of eight brothers and three sisters. Dicy is survived by her daughter, Janice (and Darrell) Clem, of Louisville. In addition to her parents and siblings, Dicy was preceded in death by her husband, Ed T. Coffey, who passed away on August 21, 1998; and two daughters, Tena and Meredith Coffey.
