Eddie Dean Wright, 56, Black Gnat, KY (1965-2021)

Eddie Dean Wright of the Black Gnat Community of Taylor County passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg. He was 56 years old.

A memorial service for Eddie Dean Wright is being planned and the date and time of the service will be announced later by the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.

Eddie Dean Wright of the Black Gnat Community of Taylor County, son of the late Eddie Hobson Wright and Cathern (Wright) Wright, was born on Tuesday, February 9, 1965 in Green County, Kentucky.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. He was a waste-water treatment operator for the City of Greensburg for 30 plus years. Eddie also loved NASCAR and riding four-wheelers.

Survived by his wife of 32 years, Suzanne Martin Wright of Black Gnat having united in marriage on May 20, 1989.

Other survivors include three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Taylor "Tiny" & Marsha Wright of Summersville, Jeff Wright and his companion, Gail Cave, and Danny and Debra Wright all of Greensburg; his father-in-law: Howard Martin of Campbellsville; other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Craig & Renee Martin of Lexington, Kay & Mike Jones of Louisville, Scott & Marilyn Martin of Campbellsville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Wright was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law: Alice Wade Martin.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home.
