Letter: Hopeful recycling center will reopen

Donna Rieder writes:
I'm looking forward to the recycling center to reopen! It has really made me sad to be putting all the things that could be recycled, into the trash for the last year and a half. Let's hope our recycling center opens soon! - Donna
Adair County Fiscal Court is getting $14,700 in a household hazardous waste (HHW) Grant, part of 75 projects across the Commonwealth being funded to expand recycling and reduce the amount of solid waste going into landfills.

Recycling styrofoam

Columbia's Feese family recycles and William Feese shared the location he was able to take this load of styrofoam to at the Dart Container Corporation in Horse Cave. It was collected over period of few months.
