CPD: Complaints lead to arrest of pickup driver By Officer Adam Cravens, PIO Columbia Police Department The Columbia Police Department made an arrest after receiving multiple complaints of a white pickup truck throughout town early Wednesday, just after midnight. Vehicle and operator where located on Music Lane, where after making contact it was determined that the operator was under the influence. Operator was taken into custody. Additionally, a search of party's person lead to the discovery of 10 grams of suspected methamphetamine. Adrian Ballou, 29, of Columbia, has been charged with DUI as well possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine. Officer Trevor Foster was the arresting Officer. He was assisted by Officer Josh Durbin. K9 Unit Cally was also used during the investigation. This story was posted on 2021-04-28 10:55:08
