Mosly cloudy, high 31F, more snow on the way

It's currently 14F at the Adair County Mesonet station. Today will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 31F and east wind 5 to 7 mph. Snow showers are likely, this evening, and wind chill values could be as low as 6F. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch of snow is possible.

Tonight will bring a 100 percent chance of snow showers before 5am, then snow showers, possibly mixed with freezing rain. The overnight low will be around 27F, with northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no ice accumulation is expected, but new snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches is possible.

Thursday will bring continued snow showers, possibly mixed with freezing rain, becoming all snow in the afternoon. Expect a high near 35F, with light and variable wind becoming north around 6 mph in the morning. Little or no ice accumulation is expected, but new snow accumulation of around an inch is possible.

Thursday Night will be cloudy, with a 30 percent chance of snow showers before midnight and a low around 17F. Northwest wind around 6 mph.
