Continued freezing rain today, high 29F

It's currently 24F at the Adair County Mesonet station. We'll see freezing rain, possibly mixed with sleet, today. The sleet could be heavy at times. High near 29F with northeast wind 8 to 10 mph. Total daytime ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch is possible, and total daytime sleet accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Tonight we'll see freezing rain switching over to snow sometime around 7pmCT. Temperatures will continue to fall, with an overnight low around 15F. Wind chill values could be as low as 8F. North wind around 7 mph becoming west after midnight. Little or no ice accumulation is expected. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 2 inches is possible.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy and cold, with a high near 23F and a chance of flurries before noon. Wind chill values will be as low as 3F. West wind 6 to 9 mph.

Tuesday Night will be mostly cloudy, with an overnight low around 11F and light and variable wind becoming northeast around 6 mph after midnight.
