LWC Swimming battles Campbellsville today at home By Brady Budke The Lindsey Wilson men's and women's swimming teams are gearing up for a dual with Campbellsville (KY) today at the Holloway Center Natatorium in the Holloway Health & Wellness Center, 399 Williams St., Columbia, KY. Live video will be available from the Holloway Center Natatorium. Swimming is set to begin at 3:30pmCT. Please view the LWC Athletics Home Attendance Protocols for more information. The women's swimming team (2-1), who is receiving votes in the recent NAIA Coaches' Top 10 poll, recently took down the Tigers by a score of 168-53 this past Saturday. The Blue Raiders also knocked off Martin Methodist (TN) in the tri-dual by a staggering score of 177-5. LWC notched 12 first-place finishes alongside five provisional standards in the pair of victories. Maaike Broersma was tabbed the Mid-South Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week for picking up three individual victories and three national standards. As for the men's swimming team (2-1), who is also receiving votes in the recent NAIA Coaches' Top 10 poll, the team also knocked down Campbellsville (145-99) and Martin Methodist (162-42) this past Saturday in the tri-dual sweep. The Blue Raiders corralled 10 first-place finishes and three provisional standards in the dominating effort against the Tigers and RedHawks.
