Rain today, chance of storms, high 60F

It's currently 43F at the Adair County Mesonet station. We'll have rain today, and the chance of a thunderstorm. The high will be near 60F, with northeast wind 5 to 11 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches are possible.

Tonight will bring continued showers and thunderstorms, and patchy fog between 9pm and 11pmCT. The overnight low will be around 50F with south wind 9 to 11 mph becoming west after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday should be sunny, with a high near 60F and southwest wind 9 to 15 mph.

Tuesday night will be mostly clear, with an overnight low around 33F. West wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.

Heavy Monday rains fill up Town Creek

Heavy Monday morning rains are quickly filling the little Town Creek in Columbia and leaving many puddles. New rainfall amounts are expected to be between 1 and 2 inches. Overnight we'll have continued showers, thunderstorms, and patchy fog. The sun will come out tomorrow.
