A look back at recipes in Historic Kentucky Kitchens In search of more details on Black Cake, we revisited Mary Anne Loy's genealogy program, Historic Kentucky Kitchen, a special event held just before the Pandemic closed down gatherings, back in February. She received rave reviews for her research, shared keepsakes, recipe handouts and homemade samples for those in attendance to taste at the Adair County Public Library event. Click the link above to see photos of interesting cooks and their special dishes shared, including Apple Stack Cake, but no Black Cake, that one's still a mystery to be solved.
