Brescia (0-2) enters Biggers Sports Center after acquiring a sluggish start to its season. The Bearcats fell against Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) by a final score of 80-38 on Nov. 6 & against Bethel (Tenn.) by a final of 78-48 on Nov. 7.

Scoring has been thin for Brescia this season, with only one Bearcat having managed a double-digit scoring average through two games. Cassidy Moss carries that average at 14 points per game on 48 percent shooting from the field (12-of-25). As a team, the Bearcats on offense are averaging 43 ppg while shooting just 30.9 percent from the field (30-of-97). On defense, Brescia is allowing opponents to score an average of 79 ppg.

As for Lindsey Wilson, the team won in dominating fashion over IU Southeast (Ind.) in its season opener on Nov. 7, taking down the Grenadiers by a final of 96-66.

Reagan Turner led the Blue Raiders in scoring last Saturday, scoring 26 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field. Turner moved herself into third all-time on the Lindsey Wilson women's basketball scoring list with 1,844 career points, now trailing only Viktoria Krell (2007-11, 2,110 career points) & Donna Burden (1988-93, 2,213 career points).

Against IU Southeast, Lindsey Wilson saw six players score in double-figures. Sydnie Hall corralled 20 points with four 3-pointers in her first collegiate game, while Rose Mary Jackson notched her first career LWC double-double with 10 points & 11 rebounds in the win.
