Roy Lewis Stone, 66, Knob Lick, KY (1953-2020) Roy Lewis Stone, 66, of Knob Lick, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020. Roy was born November 27, 1953 in the Randolph Community of Metcalfe County to Sam and Hazel Muncie Stone. He attended Metcalfe County High School and was a member of the graduation class of 1974. After graduation Roy went to work at SEWS and retired from there. He was an excellent handyman and was very meticulous about his work. He will always be remembered for his laughter and quick wit. Aside from his parents Roy is preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers - Linda Stone, Velma Branham, Louise Stone, Marshall Stone, Veachel Stone, James Stone, Mitchell Stone and William Muncie. Roy is survived by three brothers and one sister - Roger Stone of Randolph, Clifton Stone of Lexington, Donnie Stone of Knob Lick and Brenda Stone of Glasgow. A great host of nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services for Roy will be held at noon Monday at the Randolph Cemetery with burial to follow. Visitation will be held from 4-8pmCT Sunday and after 9-11amCT Monday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton. All who wish to honor and remember Roy in person at the visitation or service are required to wear a mask or face covering while inside the funeral home for the safety of all those in attendance.
