Cassie Rae Horton, 24, Metcalfe County, KY (1996-2020) Cassie Rae Horton age 24 of Edmonton died Thursday in Glasgow as the result of an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held 1pmCT Monday, September 7, 2020 at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Hubbard Cemetery. Due to the current Covid-19 crisis the funeral service will be limited to close family only. A walk-through visitation will be held from 4-8pm Sunday and after 9am Monday at the funeral home. A mask will be required during the visitation and services. She was the daughter of Chasity and Lee Young of Edmonton, an employee of Luttrell Staffing and of the protestant faith. Cassie felt her greatest accomplishment in life was being a mom to her son Arcadius Barlow. She was also very proud and honored to have been on the Lindsey Wilson cheer leading team while attending college. Other survivors include one sister, Ellee Young of Edmonton, two brothers Jimmy Lee Young of Edmonton and Jacob (Angela) Horton of Lebanon. Her grandparents Ann and Gilbert Slayton of Mt. Herman, Jimmy and Sheila Young of Edmonton and Sharon Jones of Edmonton. A very special friend Miranda Craft also of Edmonton. Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
