Half price cat and dog adoption fees announced at GRAS By Tammy Campbell, GRAS Director Through the month of August a Greensburg check-cashing business will be paying half the adoption fees for cats and dogs at the Green River Animal Shelter. Cats will be $15, Dogs will be $25. When coming to adopt please bring a collar and leash with you. For cats please bring a carrier or a box to put your cat in, these will not be provided. We ask that you please wear a mask when entering the building and social distance as much as possible. Hours will be Monday, Thursday and Saturday from 10-2pmCT; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10-4pmCT. The doors will not be open until 10amCT. We are in need of non-clumping cat litter, kitten food and, as always, cleaning supplies if anyone would like to donate these items. Call Phone at 270-385-9655 for additional information.
