Charles Irwin Page, 86, Knob Lick, KY

Charles Irwin Page, 86, of Knob Lick, KY passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in Edmonton.

Charles was the son of the late Rev. Bruce Page and Maxine Irwin Page Devore. After graduating from high school he joined the United States Army, stationed in San Francisco, California. He served his country for three years, eleven months and twenty-nine days.

Charles took pride in his service to his country and had many stories to share about his adventures. He was a gifted talker and never met a stranger. He loved people and being able to share his experiences in life as well as hearing of theirs. Charles had a great memory and his mind in itself was a history book.



Charles is survived by two sisters - Phala Sue Blaydes of Greensburg and Paula DeVore of Seymour, Tennessee. Six nieces and nephews - Brooke Devore, Marla Young, Robyn Mantooth, Greg Blaydes, Chris Blaydes and Allyson Davis. Several great nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides his parents Charles was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Forrest Lee Devore, Syrus Page and Jeanette Page. Funeral services for Charles will be held 1pmCT Friday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the New Liberty Cemetery.

A walk through visitation is after 9am Friday at the funeral home. Due to the current Covid-19 crisis masks will be required and the funeral service will be limited to close family only.
