Columbia City Council special called meeting, Tue 6 July 2020 Note: This article has been updated with an agenda change, 6/3/2020 By Rhonda Loy The Columbia City Council will hold a special called meeting at 6pmCT on Monday, July 6, 2020, in City Hall, 116 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Per recommendation of the CDC and social distancing requirements, and due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the community, the Columbia City Council meeting will not be open to the public, but will be held as a special video teleconference meeting at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_uNOuSc28g. Meeting Agenda:
No primary location will be set for public attendance as per Kentucky Attorney General Opinion 20-05, public attendance will not be permistted at the meeting due to the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and it is not feasible for the City to maintain order and abide by recommended and mandated precautions while providing a central physical location for public viewing. As the City of Columbia City Council is following state-mandated guidelines to social distance during the COVID-19 pandemic, City Hall is closed and not open to the public, and citizens are encouraged to watch the meeting live on YouTube via the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_uNOuSc28g.
