Jobs survey underway at City Hall, Columbia From the City of Columbia Our community has a light industrial company offering up to 100 jobs that is considering locating here. This is a factory, light industrial production, jobs paying $10 - $13 per hour. People who are interested in part time or full time positions, (both will be offered) may come by City Hall, use the back door and pick up an application, fill it out and return. This needs to be done in the next few days to show this company that we have an eager and available workforce. We need jobs, people have begged for years for a new factory or means of employment. Here is our chance. If you need to grab an application after hours, or just choose not to come in the building, there is a small mailbox located at the back door with applications inside. You may return them in the tub just below it, or bring in if you wish. Feel free to take multiples should you know others who may be interested. This story was posted on 2020-06-30 07:43:46
