Dairy Queen hoping to break ground in Columbia soon By Rhonda Loy, City Clerk The Dairy Queen is still coming to our community, and they are hoping to break ground within the next 45 days. The following statement from Justin Kraus, who has been working with the city on the new Dairy Queen location, was received late yesterday: Mayor Hoots,Mayor Hoots commented, "We are extremely excited about Dairy Queen coming to Columbia.
