FM2 first day of 2020 season reported to be a good start Opening day of Farmers Market on the Square (FM2) in Columbia finished up after noon Saturday, April 4, 2020 and resulted in a positive outlook for the season on the part of vendors. Upwards of 200 people were said to have gone through the market, very orderly and maintaining social distancing as instructed by state leaders to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Co-director Donna Jones said they had some new faces and lots of regulars with very good feedback, "folks are glad to have another option for fresh foods." A wide lane behind the yellow ribbon is for walking through plus a lane is protected for drive-through in case anyone needs to order from their car and have it brought over to them.
